Yesterday, a long-time client walked into our state-of-the-art AIVA Clinic Suite in Mayfair. He’s someone I’ve treated for years, back from the early Harley Street days. As he looked around the new space, he said with a smile:
“I can see why you moved from Harley Street. This is way more fancy.”
And it got me thinking. About my 10-year journey in aesthetics. About the evolution. About what it really means to grow—not just in business, but in presence, standard, and purpose.
The 10-Year Climb
It’s been a decade-long climb in medical aesthetics. My very first Central London space was a modest little suite in Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, in 2018. Then came Brook Street, Mayfair. I loved that era. My client list was exploding. Every week brought waves of new clients—it was a pleasure to meet and treat all of them.
Then I moved to Harley Street, the place that, once upon a time, carried weight.
But now? Practitioners hide behind the name “Harley Street” with zero to no experience.
Why I Left Harley Street
Harley Street used to be synonymous with prestige. But now? Anyone—and I mean anyone—can rent a room by the hour for £50. You don’t even need to be a doctor. You could be a complete non-medic, call up, book a space, and suddenly you’re “Harley Street based.”
It became diluted. Commercialised. The façade of credibility without the substance. Howard de Walden Estate, the landlords behind Harley Street, are now beginning to phase out aesthetics altogether—and I agree with them. That area should be reserved for medical specialists. Oncology. Cardiology. Life-saving work.
But Mayfair? That’s a different world. They do things differently here.
Why Mayfair Is Home
In Mayfair, you can’t rent a clinical space by the hour. You can’t fake it. You’re vetted, scrutinised, audited. Who are you? What’s your professional background? Can you afford to even be here? Before you ever open your mouth, the environment checks your credentials.
And that’s exactly how it should be.
What does that mean? It means accountability—which every single client in aesthetics deserves, especially in the unregulated UK market. In Harley Street, you can set up shop in an hour and be gone in an hour. Here today, gone tomorrow—with clients left stranded, thinking about their follow-ups.
I’ve treated thousands of clients, from high-profile figures to everyday professionals who simply wanted the best. And what I deliver is more than filler or technique. It’s elite-level aesthetic craftsmanship—a decade in the making. Personalised. Discreet. Precise.
Mayfair isn’t just a postcode. It’s a standard.
So No, I’m Not Being Big-Headed
This isn’t ego. This is fact. This is what my clients deserve. The quality I deliver deserves the environment to match it. And that’s why I built the AIVA Mayfair Suite.
It’s not about showing off. It’s about rising into the identity I’ve earned after a decade of doing this at the highest level.
The clients see it. They feel it. And most importantly—they trust it.
I thank each and every one of my clients over the last 10 years for trusting me with their aesthetic treatments. Because without you, I wouldn’t be able to continue to deliver and grow the services I offer.
